Alwitra wall cappings are made from cold-rolled aluminium and can be left bare or be plastic coated in a range of colours (same process that car manufacturers use), to reduce corrosion. The profile holders allow unrestricted linear movement for thermal expansion and contraction.

Alwitra wall cappings are also an economic way of covering existing, leaking coping stones.
