The Stonehenge Visitor Centre, located close to the historic World Heritage Site, was designed as a contemporary gateway for visitors while respecting the surrounding landscape. Construction began in 2012, with the centre opening to the public in late 2013.
The single-storey building features timber and glass structures beneath a distinctive undulating canopy inspired by the Salisbury Plain.
To support this complex roof form, a high-performance waterproofing system using EVALASTIC® membrane was installed, delivering durable protection while accommodating the architectural design.
