alwitra® Evalon VSK, Standing Seam & Lead Roll Profiles |
Hanham Mausoleum, built at Manston House in 1876 has been gracefully restored using ICB’s EVALON® VSK single-ply membrane, complimented by our standing seam profiles following the theft of the original lead in the mid-20th Century.
The Grade II Listed building has a ghostly history, built by Captain Thomas Hanham as a place to store the bodies of his wife and mother whilst awaiting permission to have them cremated. This permission was not granted because cremation was illegal until 1902, so Hanham built a crematorium and did the job himself.
