alwitra® Evalon VSK, Standing Seam & Lead Roll Profiles |
The Grade II listed Hanham Mausoleum in Sturminster Newton required a sensitive roof refurbishment to protect the historic structure while preserving its character. Originally built by Captain Thomas Hanham, the building has a distinctive heritage background and demanded a sympathetic modern waterproofing approach.
The project utilised the self-adhesive EVALON® VSK single-ply membrane alongside standing seam and lead-roll effect detailing. This solution provided durable weather protection while replicating the appearance of traditional lead, helping maintain the building’s historic aesthetic with a reliable, low-maintenance roofing finish.
