The Corrieshalloch Gorge Visitors Centre was implemented by the National Trust for Scotland, has opened this year. The idea behind this new build, situated in the stunning nature reserve of northern Scotland, was to improve the infrastructure in the area and provide a hub for visitors of the Gorge.
Catriona Hill of Oberlander Architects in Ardgay approached ICB Waterproofing to discuss the use and feasibility of utilising a single ply roofing membrane. After many discussions on the project, we were able to offer a watertight roofing solution with our Alwitra EVALON® VSK Single Ply roofing membrane. The self-adhered membrane was chosen because its flexibility is ideal for steep slopes and curved roof areas.
