The alwitra® soil vent pipe forms the upper end of vent pipes protruding over low slope roofs with waterproofing of any constructional type up to DN 125 (OD 125).
- The soil vent pipe consisting of one single pipe extends over the roof build-up without any joints and is connected to the downpipe DN 125 (OD 125) and DN 100 (OD 110) below the roof structure by means of the included reducer.
- A corresponding reducer (125/75) is available for downpipes DN 70 (OD 75)

Soil Vent Pipes
The alwitra® Shaft (Soil) Vent Pipe serves as the upper termination of vent stacks projecting through low-slope roofs. Manufactured as a single continuous pipe, it passes through the roof build-up without joints and connects to the drainage downpipe beneath the roof deck using the supplied reducer.

Advantages
- The connecting flange can be heat-welded directly to the compatible roof waterproofing membrane, removing the need for additional fixing materials.
- At roof level, the soil vent pipe may remain open or be fitted with the supplied vent cowl for protection. For increased resistance to rainfall, an optional weather cap is also available.
- The lower section, manufactured from polypropylene (PP) and PP bead foam, is positioned within the structural sub-base and sealed to the vapour and wind barrier layers. Once inserted into the vent pipe, this component ensures a secure, airtight connection.
